SIDON: A CITY WITH A CITRUS AROMA
Share
As a child, Sidon was my enchanting playground, where every cobblestone held a secret, waiting to be discovered.
What I remember best is driving to my father’s grove, where you can experience a “sea of orange trees”, you can see a beautiful natural painting of the sea behind the groves. I remember spending a Saturday or Sunday with family and extended family. Memories of eating our favorite meal of Manoosheh (Lebanese flatbread made with cheese or Za’atar, a Middle Eastern herb), enjoying a special time of unconditional love under the orange blossoms. I hold these memories close to my heart.
